The new colors for the iPhone 18 Pro have leaked online, and if true, it could be a big change.
As per an X post from leaker Sonny Dickson, Apple is reportedly pivoting in a new direction, away from the Cosmic Orange it introduced with the 17 Pro last year.
The X post shows three SIM trays, rendered in Silver, Sky Blue and a Dark Cherry colour. Dickson had previously noted a Black option may also be coming, although he’s since suggested to a commenter on his X post that may well have been a dummy unit.
Previous leaks had indicated we should expect more subtle tones for the next iPhone, with the same three colors mentioned here, alongside the idea Apple may be ditching both orange and dark blue for the next Pro-designated iPhone.
As MacRumors has noted, the Pantone codes for the colors Apple has reportedly decided on are:
Dark Cherry – Pantone 6076 – the new “headline color”
Light Blue – Pantone 2121 – said to resemble the current ‘Mist Blue’ Apple offers
Silver – Pantone 427C - similar to the current generation color
Dark Gray – Pantone 426C
We also recently saw leaked drop tests for the new iPhone 18 Pro, which reaffirm these colors and note the phone’s design to be very similar to the way the iPhone 17 Pro currently looks, with a triple camera array at the top, an Apple logo, and a glass cut-out on the back for wireless charging.
The drop tests came from Tata Electronics, one of Apple’s suppliers, and also noted six files for hundreds of components purported to be used in the phone.
