🔒 GTA 6 trailer 3 debuts exclusively on Netflix on August 27, 2026, followed by a YouTube release hours later
👀 The trailer promises an extended look, likely featuring actual gameplay footage
📅 GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with physical copies including a download code instead of a disc
💰 Pre-orders start at $79.99, with an Ultimate Edition available for $99.99
The GTA 6 trailer 3 will air on August 27, 2026. However, in a first for a major video game, the trailer will be shown on Netflix first at 3pm ET / 12pm PT / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST.
The trailer will give us an ‘extended look’ at Grand Theft Auto 6, which presumably means we’ll finally see some actual gameplay.
No further details are revealed, but the deal with Netflix means those without a subscription will have to wait until it releases on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 pm ET / 6pm PT on August 27 and 2am BST / 3am CEST on August 28.
GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Physical copies do not contain a disc; instead, a download code is included inside.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is available for pre-order for $79.99 – $10 more than the usual asking price. An Ultimate Edition is also available for $99.99, though there’s still no sign of the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition we all expect.
It’s expected to break retail records and will be a tremendous boon for the video game industry. Sony has secured the marketing deal for the game and has launched ads that say GTA 6 “plays best on PS5”. That may be true of the PS5 Pro version, which will probably be the best way to enjoy the game before an inevitable PC release.
