Viture has unveiled its latest pair of XR glasses, the Viture Pro 2, which are a culmination of everything it’s learned over the last five years. They cost $299 and are available to order today.
At just 63 grams, the Viture Pro 2 is 20% lighter and 16% thinner than the original Viture Pro. Comfort was a big consideration with the Pro 2, and Viture hopes you’ll be able to wear its new glasses for hours without experiencing fatigue. Three interchangeable nose pads are also included, providing seven adjustment positions in total.
With its new UltraClarity 3.0 tech, which promises crystal-clear visuals, the Viture Pro 2 is also SGS Eye Care Certified for low blue light and flicker-free operation. The two Sony Micro-OLED displays can reach 1,600 nits of brightness, up from 1,000 nits of the original Viture Pro. The glasses also have built-in diopter adjustment, so you can achieve edge-to-edge sharpness.
“Five years ago, we answered the question, ‘Can XR glasses work?’” said Emily Wang, co-founder of Viture. “Today, Viture Pro 2 answers a harder one: ‘Can they be a joy to wear, even for three hours straight?’ Every upgrade in this collection was chosen with that question in mind. Launching alongside the Viture Pro 2 is Viture’s new Mobile Dock Mini. It’s 34% smaller and 30% lighter than the previous Mobile Dock, and costs $99. It has a thin magnetic mount that attaches to the back of a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 and stays connected even when the system is docked. The Mobile Dock Mini is also compatible with every Viture XR glasses model.
The Mobile Dock Mini is available for pre-order today, and those who purchase a Viture Pro 2 and the Mobile Dock Mini together can save $20.
