The next round of PS Plus free games appears to have leaked courtesy of the usual culprit, and Sony has a mixed bag in store for us.
According to Dealabs user billbil kun – who has successfully predicted the PS Plus monthly free games line-up for months – December’s batch will include Mass Effect Legendary Edition for PS4, Biomutant for PS4, and Divine Knockout on both PS4 and PS5.
All three games are expected to be available to claim from December 6 to January 3. As usual, they’ll be available to download for all PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members, and can be played for as long as your PS Plus membership is active.
Of course, if you’re not currently subscribed to Sony’s premium membership service you can always sign up. Use our handy PlayStation Plus discount code to get a chunk of money off.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition collects the first three games in BioWare’s acclaimed sci-fi RPG series, alongside all DLC, and rolls them up with a few visual enhancements and gameplay improvements, like weapon balancing, AI behavior tweaks and polished controls.
Biomutant mixes open-world post-apocalyptic exploration with kung fu combat. The main gimmick is being able to upgrade the abilities of its central rodent protagonist through genetic mutations. It received a middling critical reception on release but has since gone on to be seen more favorably by fans after its biggest bugs were ironed out.
Divine Knockout, meanwhile, is an upcoming team-based multiplayer arena brawler. You’ll compete to knock opponents outside an arena’s boundaries across various game modes. It’s set to release on December 6, the same day it’s hitting PS Plus.
Don’t forget to pick up November’s free PS Plus games before they disappear on December 6, including Nioh 2, Lego Harry Potter Collection, and Heavenly Bodies. Or if you want something more to whet your appetite, take a gander at the full PlayStation Plus Premium games list.
