😬 GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek has threatened to release a fully playable build of the game
👀 This comes after more apparent clips of the game were leaked in recent days
💰 The leaker is threatening to release the full build when their crypto coin hits a $30 million cap
💿 Supposedly the only way for Rockstar to stop it is to issue a full apology and release a proper physical version of the game with a disc
GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek has threatened to release a fully playable, complete version of the game unless their demands are met
As per Eurogamer, the threat was posted to the leaker’s website after they shared 25 minutes of footage from GTA 6 earlier this week that even features nude scenes from both Jason and Lucia.
CyberLeek has reportedly stated that the build will go live when their cryptocurrency coin hits a $30 million market cap, and claims the GTA 6 version they have can be played through to the end credits.
The demand on the leaker’s website reads: “Here’s the deal, nice and clean. CyberLeek hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don’t believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CL is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they’ll pick.”
If that is the case, the only way Rockstar can stop this from occurring is by offering a proper physical version of the game, as well as a public apology.
The game is available physically, although it’s nothing more than a “code in a box”, which has caused uproar among certain fans – even if reports claim Rockstar hasn’t sold many of the physical version in any guise.
CyberLeek had previously revealed an array of clips purportedly from the upcoming title, which one ex-Rockstar director called a “nothing burger”, while Rockstar officially addressed the leaks, too.
The developer’s statement said it was “heartbreaking for our team” to see leaked clips of the game appear and apologized for the time lag between different clips and information being released, before we got the official GTA 6 Extended Look at the end of August on Netflix and subsequently YouTube.
GTA 6 is due out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19.
