Forza Horizon 6 is racing onto PS5 on January 26, 2027, after it was originally planned to release this year.
We already knew Microsoftâs best-selling Xbox game was heading to Sonyâs console, but things have been strangely quiet. Some speculated that Microsoft may have changed its mind about bringing one of its most critically acclaimed games to PS5 after changing its stance on console exclusives. However, that doesnât seem to be the case.
Forza Horizon 6âs PS5 launch will coincide with the gameâs first expansion. PS5 players can purchase a Premium Edition, which includes up to five days of early access and access to the new expansion.
Forza Horizon 6 was released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, and achieved an impressive Metacritic score of 90 â making it one of Microsoftâs highest-rated first-party games.
Developer Playground Games will hope it can replicate the same success with Fable, another previously Xbox exclusive title thatâs now scheduled for PS5.
