Apple Watch 7, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch 3 deals still exist
There are almost always Apple Watch deals in the US except on launch day, so unless you’re waiting for the next Apple Watch (Apple Watch 8 rumors say September), it’s a matter of finding the right store to give you a better price than the official Apple Store.
The best Apple Watch 7 deals are almost 7% off MSRP at Amazon starting at $30 off the 45mm size. It’s an even cheaper starting price (but less of overall savings) for the 41mm Apple Watch 7 at $383. Most people pay $399 (41mm) and $429 (45mm) respectively at launch for their Apple Watch sans a deal. That’s more money to save on things like Apple Watch bands.
You can save even more money by opting for the Apple Watch SE or the older Apple Watch 3 (it’s about to go out of stock later this year, retailers tell me). At this point, I don’t suggest the Apple Watch 6 or Apple Watch 5, as those models have become discontinued, so the inflated price by third-party resellers is too close to that Apple Watch 7 price. It’s not worth it. There are also discounts on the Apple Watch bands that give your existing Apple smartwatch a pop of color and remain easy to swap.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is $30 if you’re looking for the larger 45mm size (it’s the size I recommend due to its larger battery capacity). Considering the fact that this is the latest high-end smartwatch from Apple, it’s hard to say no to more a couple of dollars off. Apple Watch 7 has a 20% more screen area than the Series 6 watch, faster charging via USB-C, and all of the fancy health sensors and alerts for heart rate, ECG and even sleep tracking.
Apple Watch SE deals
MSRP: $279
Cheapest Apple Watch SE deal: $249
Total savings: $30
This is where we begin to see bigger Apple Watch discounts on the smaller size – the SE has a similar design without the larger always-on display. The core fitness and notification perks are still here for a much cheaper price. Apple is slated to introduce a new Apple Watch SE 2022, so this is likely why we’re seeing price drop for this model.
Apple Watch 3 deals
MSRP: $229 (42mm)
Cheapest Apple Watch 3 deal: $199
Total savings: $30
There are still Apple Watch 3 deals through Amazon, and this version of the Apple smartwatch has stuck around because Apple can promote the fact that it has an Apple Watch at a low price of $199 (it originally launched at $329). But, that’s for the smaller 38mm version (which isn’t being sold on Amazon at the moment).
The good news is you can still pay $199 for the Apple Watch 3 and get the larger 45mm Apple Watch size without spending the extra $30.
Apple Watch bands
There are hundreds of thousands of Apple Watch bands, both from the official Apple Store and third-party sellers who have caught on to Apple’s band design. That’s been a perk for anyone who wants a specific Apple Watch strap or color and there seems to be an endless amount of options.
