Microsoft has revealed a new Mineral Camo Xbox Wireless Controller Color, and it’s available to buy right now.

The controller sports a camouflage pattern made up of bold mineral blue, bright purple, aqua, and dark purple. You can never have too many controllers, in my opinion, but don’t ask me, as I have a horrible habit of collecting them all.

The Mineral Camo Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller joins a growing list of colorful Xbox pads, which can also be personalized to your liking at Xbox Design Labs. Picking up a spare pad is one of the best Xbox Series X accessories you can buy, as it’s always handy to have a spare controller to hand.

We’ve seen Sony offer more PS5 controller colors in recent months, with the Gray Camouflage Collection and God of War Ragnarok controller being the latest additions, but Microsoft has established a healthy lead when it comes to offering colorful variants of its controller.

To date, we’ve seen the Xbox Wireless Controller come in Carbon Black, Robot White, Shock Blue, Pulse Red, and Electric Volt. There have also been several special editions, like the Aqua Shift, Day strike Camo, Forza Horizon 5, and 20th Anniversary controller.

Microsoft’s pro controller, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, has also seen some attractive variants, such as the Halo Infinite Limited Edition controller and the newly released Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core, which comes in white.

While it’s great to see more Xbox Wireless Controllers, we’re still waiting for Sony to announce the PS5 DualSense Edge Controller price and release date. The pad is aimed at competitive gamers looking to get an advantage when playing online and promises many of the same features found on Microsoft’s pro pad.

With the recent PS5 price increase, it’s unclear what Sony will eventually charge for the PS5 DualSense Edge, but I think it’ll be somewhere between $179.99 to $249.99.
