Rockstar Games has been unable to stop the GTA 6 leaks, and the group responsible is now promising to show some gameplay involving the series’ first ever playable female character, Lucia.
Cyberleek, which has posted several gameplay videos in recent weeks, released a new video that showed Jason racing toward a gas station, stealing a truck, and running over the owner. It shows gore and dismemberment, with the NPC appearing to lose a leg after being run over.
The clip ends with a prompt reading “Return to Lucia”, which suggests the next leak will involve the second playable character. So far, we’ve only seen Jason in action, but if Lucia is shown, it’s further proof that the leakers have access to a playable build, not just footage.
A previous video showed the player shooting the word ‘LEEK’ into a wall, all but confirming the leakers had a full build, albeit not a final one, of the game.
Rockstar and its publisher Take-Two have been scrambling to remove the videos as soon as they appear online, but have so far been unable to find the individual or individuals involved. So far, no story content has been spoiled, but it’s clear the leaks won’t stop ahead of the game’s ‘Extended Look’ on Netflix on August 27, 2026.
One way Rockstar has tried to combat leaks and spoilers is by releasing GTA 6 as a download code in a box. Retailers can often break the release date, leading to those with early access to share gameplay and spoil things for others. With the download code, it only becomes playable when Rockstar decides to unlock it.
However, the studio couldn’t have foreseen that someone would be able to get hold of a playable build, and will be doing everything in its power to stop any more leaks from happening.
