Rockstar has surprisingly dropped the GTA 6 launch trailer, with just under two minutes of brand new footage.
The footage, as with some of Rockstarās other GTA 6 gameplay, was apparently captured on a base PlayStation 5, and was posted to X earlier today.
The new footage includes a range of new and exciting stuff, including clips of heists in-action, including a helicopter getaway that seems quite precarious.
There are also some rather more intimate clips present between Jason and Lucia involving a shower, which suggests weāre likely getting some form of nudity.
The trailer also has some smaller details that keen eyes will be happy to delve deeper into, including what appears to be an ankle tag on Luciaās leg, hinting that she might be out of jail on parole (of course, the start of the second trailer from May 2025 sees Jason go to collect Lucia from jail).
The trailer actually opens with a shot of The Keys, which finally confirms the presence of the Florida Keys (or at least Rockstarās parody of it) in GTA 6 ā it had been rumored that it had been present in development, but removed, as we hadnāt heard much about it.
The song playing in the background of the new GTA 6 trailer is a new standalone single from Justice called āFlower in a Hurricaneā, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and the fantastic King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Quite the collaboration.
It comes after a big marketing push from Rockstar in recent weeks, including a hefty deep dive article with Bloomberg, as well as murals popping up in the US and a $400 collectible version of the game.
GTA 6 launches on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
