The first limited edition Nintendo Switch OLED is here – and it’s ink-credible
Nintendo has revealed a Splatoon 3 Nintendo Switch, and it might be the best-looking console yet
Nintendo is celebrating the upcoming launch of Splatoon 3 with a limited edition Nintendo Switch OLED, the first of its kind.
The striking console will be available on August 26 and costs $359.99. It comes with a pair of gorgeous, gradient-colored Joy-Con, which are decorated with various Splatoon logos and artwork. The back of the Switch is also adorned in Splatoon imagery while the new dock is splatted with yellow ink, which is very befitting of the game.

🎮 New Switch Pro Controller
📅 Release date: September 9, 2022
💰 Price: $74.99
It’s worth mentioning that a copy of Splatoon 3 is not included with this bundle (the game is out on September 9), which means you’ll have the purchase the upcoming title separately even if you pick up the new Switch OLED console.
Nintendo has also revealed a Splatoon 3 Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and a Nintendo Switch Splatoon 3 Edition Carrying Case. Both accessories arrive on September 9, the same day the game is released, and cost $74.99 and $24.99 respectively.
Splatoon 3 will likely be one of the biggest games of 2022 for Nintendo Switch owners. The clever third-person shooter sees players compete for territory by covering stages in ink. You can swim and take cover in your team’s ink and unleash various special moves to take out your opponents. Whoever has the most turf at the end of a round wins.
Splatoon 3 is primarily an online-focused game, so if you haven’t picked up a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, now’s a great time to do so.
