🔋 The S27 Ultra will charge faster by maintaining high wattage (55-56W) for longer
🤖 AI will be used to reduce lens flare artifacts from the camera
👋 The telephoto lens may be removed from the standard S27 model to lower costs
📱 A new S27 Pro model is rumored to feature a telephoto lens instead
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will receive two welcome improvements, according to the latest insider leaks.
Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone will make greater use of the 60-watt fast charging that was introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Instead of only briefly reaching the maximum wattage, the S27 Ultra will charge at 55 to 56 watts for a longer period, increasing overall charging speed by around three percent, says X user WalleGalaxy.
Another Galaxy S27 Ultra rumor suggests Samsung has addressed lens flare, which is a common camera artifact on Galaxy devices. Instead of using a special optical coating, Samsung will reportedly use AI to tackle the problem. However, the leak comes from a less trustworthy source in X user kro_roe, so take this with a pinch of salt.
Other rumors point to Samsung removing its 3x telephoto lens to cut costs on the Samsung Galaxy S27, and will instead be included on a new Galaxy S27 Pro model.
