😎 RayNeo has announced three new AR glasses: the iO for professional productivity, and the GT and GT Max for cinema-grade entertainment and gaming
👓 The 33-gram RayNeo iO offers heads-up productivity tools, including support for multiple LLMs like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude, alongside live translation
🎮 The GT series features premium display technology, with the GT Max offering a 307-inch virtual display and both models being the first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision
📅 All three models will be available for purchase on September 4, 2026, and will be demonstrated at IFA 2026 in Berlin
The battle to make the best AR glasses continues, and RayNeo is hoping its three new models can appeal to professionals, gamers and movie fans alike.
The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses are aimed at professionals and weigh just 33 grams. Users can switch between several large language models, including Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude, while Live Translation and Auto-Teleprompter features are also supported.
The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses can reach 1,300 nits of brightness and offer a 23.5-degree field of view. They’ll be available in two colours: Polar Night (Dark Grey) and Dune (Gold). RayNeo hasn’t announced pricing yet.
Next up are the RayNeo GT and GT Max, which are designed for portable gaming and media consumption. The standard GT uses Birdbath optics, offers a 46-degree field of view and weighs 68 grams.
It can display games and other content on a virtual screen measuring up to 231 inches, while its four speakers have been co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen.
The RayNeo GT Max is the heaviest of the three models at 78 grams, but increases the field of view to 59 degrees. It can also produce a massive 307-inch virtual display, while both the GT and GT Max support native three-degrees-of-freedom (3DoF) tracking.
RayNeo says the GT and GT Max are the world’s first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision. They also feature real-time AI-powered SDR-to-HDR conversion, although pricing for both models remains under wraps.
“RayNeo iO and the GT Series represent a fundamental commitment to purpose-built spatial hardware,” said Howie Li, founder and CEO of RayNeo. “Rather than compromising with a single device that tries to do everything, we designed two dedicated experiences: the iO as an invisible, all-day assistant for heads-up productivity, and the GT Series as an uncompromising personal cinema for travel and entertainment. Together, they deliver intuitive tools tailored precisely to how people work and relax every day.”
The RayNeo iO, RayNeo GT and RayNeo GT Max will go on sale on September 4, 2026. All three models will also be available to demo at IFA 2026 in Berlin, which runs from September 4 to September 8.
