'Confirmed' is in quotes because we’re quoting a source. Journalism 101. 🤦🏻♂️
Also, the source revealed the PS5 Pro before anyone else. He has a solid track record. And we have similar cred for posting the very first pre-order and restock links (before items sell out). Join us instead of throwing shade! 🤗
No, you cannot quote a source without proper attribution. Attribution is the practice of acknowledging the source and author of a work you are using, especially when quoting their exact words. Failing to do so is considered plagiarism and is both unethical and potentially illegal. Also journalism 101.
Hi Eric. You are correct! For the My Nintendo Store, their first batch of pre-order invites go out on May 8. However, I expect five US retailers to have pre-orders in April (it was originally supposed to be April 9 but got delayed to due tariffs). Look out for links soon!
Hi Justin. Because of comments like this, we had a policy of making the comments section of some articles a perk for paid subscribers to ask helpful tech questions, not throw shade. I've opened it up on that Oblivion article because I'm curious what you needed to say. But, again, I may make comments a paid subscriber perk to root out SPAM (Substack is good, but not perfect) and rude behavior (see the thread about where someone complains I'm not citing sources when... it's in the article).
I don't know what you considered confirmed, but if you have to put it in quotes, you know it's already a clickbait title! 🤣🤣

The source is not only referenced, but also linked to in the article. Reading 101. What's with people today?
If you're a Nintendo Member and go back to the how register to pre order it states 1st batch of email invites go out May 8th

Real cute to turn off comments for unpaid subscribers on the Oblivion leak article. You know, after your smug fucking tirade the other day.
