Black Friday Walmart deals: the shopping season has arrived

When the Black Friday date arrives, be ready with these Walmart deals

Black Friday is just a couple weeks away, and as the date draws near, Walmart already has a ton of deals at the ready. And while there will surely be new deals that appear as Black Friday week approaches, you can easily get started on your holiday shopping list today if you’re so inclined.

I’ll be keeping an eye on all the deals Walmart releases over the next week or so, and include only the ones that are actually worth your hard-earned money. So, whether you’re just hoping for a PS5 restock or one of the best laptops, I have you covered.

Gaming

Xbox Series S 512GB + an extra controller

The Xbox Series S is already a great deal, getting you into the current generation of console gaming for under $300. And while new consoles have been hard to find so far this generation (which we help with for both PS5 and Xbox), Walmart has the affordable console on a nice little discount. You can get both the 512GB Xbox Series S and an extra controller for just $289 at Walmart right now, a full $80 cheaper than you would be spending to buy the two items separately. Heck, this bundle is $10 cheaper than just the console.

Home theater

Onn. 40-inch Roku Smart HDTV

A 40-inch Roku TV for less than $100 is all you really need to know about this deal. Is it an amazing TV? Almost certainly not! Will it do whatever you need it to for the cost of a used TV on Craigslist? Yes. And it won’t last long at this price, so get it while the gettin’ is good.

RCA 480p projector with 100-inch screen

Walmart didn’t publish the normal price for this RCA 480p projector and 100-inch screen combo, so we don’t know what the discount is – other examples around the internet appear to be roughly at this price, however. So this one may not be a deal so much as a (very) cheap way to get a great big screen for movies at home.

LG 55-inch 4K TV

Like the other home theater products in this sale, Walmart has chosen not to list the original price, which may indicate this isn’t necessarily a discount, just a good deal on a TV. This 55-inch LG 4K smart TV for under $300 won’t last long, so if you’re looking for something cheap and big, this is it.

Apple

Apple Watch Series 8

The Apple Watch Series 8 is seeing its first real discounts, and starting at 12PM EST today, Walmart Plus members will get early access to this $50 discount. Mostly an incremental update over the Series 7, this watch does bring a couple of big updates to the Watch lineup, most notably a built-in temperature sensor and car crash detection. We would expect this deal to sell out quickly. Jump on this one before it’s gone.

AirPods Pro (1st Generation)

• Launch price: $249

• Current Walmart price: $159

• Discount: $90 (save 36%)

These first-gen AirPods Pro may be technically out-of-date, but they’re still some of the best true wireless earbuds around, especially if you’re a big iPhone user. These unassuming earbuds won’t just provide top-notch audio, but will cancel out most ambient noise around you. And when you actually need to hear your surroundings, there’s a handy ambient mode that will ensure you won’t be hit by a car.

And with this early Black Friday Walmart deal, you can pick these up for just $159.
