As a Steam Deck owner and lover I'm real glad to see actual momentum and motion forward, at least if the rumored price turns out to be true and if it's power efficient enough to last a long time when locking TDP. But besides the more GAMER aesthetic which I'm at least not a fan of compared to the more subdued design of the Deck, I wonder if Windows 11 will actually work well in this context. Ofc those edge cases where proton doesn't work is covered with W11 and less friction in terms of using other storefronts or certain applications etc. compared to Linux is great, there's definitely pros and cons with each OS. But there's so many little details the Deck gets right in terms of the UX that makes it so seamless and a joy to use and a good portion of that is thanks to SteamOS and how it's integrated with the Deck, like it really harmonizes to make it a beauty to use and idk if it's possible to replicate that experience to that level of elegance on Windows. Interesting to see how that will compare, even perhaps installing SteamOS on the Ally might be an interesting third comparison.

Can you actually play genshin impact natively? Without downloading any extra software? Because i didn't like to use it on the steam deck. I didn't want to get banned.
