Same, lots of solid upgrades this year which hasn't always been the case. Tempted by the Air, but I think I'd want the longer battery life and gaming performance of the iPhone 17 Pro. Also feels more future proof.
I think that with the air, the form factor is obviously great, non stereo speakers will probably throw a lot of people off from it. Also without a dedicated cooling system to dissipate the heat like the pro models will be interesting to see if it heats up.
Yeah, the single speaker is a big drawback that most casual consumers won't even know about until they use the phone. I watch too much media on my phone to make the Air a viable option; however, I'll need to see how it sounds before ruling it out completely.
The 17 is possibly the closest offering that actually makes me consider upgrading my 13
