The Zelda Switch 2 40th Anniversary console is already hands of thousands of lucky gamers, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t thousands more Zelda fans searching for a restock. To help those who are still searching for the console, our reliable restock tracker is your best port of call. It provides up-to-the-second info on when a retailer has stock, and we send out an instant alert to our followers.
There are the retailers to watch in the US for the next Zelda Switch 2 restock.
Walmart Zelda Switch 2 restock
The console remains sold out at online stores in the US on Monday, November 2. However, we already know when the next big restock will take place at Walmart and Target.
After overselling its allotment of consoles (a supply chain issue was reportedly to blame), Walmart has issued refunds to customers who were affected and even given some a gift card for the full amount. Walmart is sending out an email to give those whose pre-order was cancelled first dibs on re-ordering, but there’s a good chance people will either miss the email or simply decide not to bother, freeing up more stock.
Walmart is also reportedly holding stock back for a big online restock on November 6.
Target Zelda Switch 2 restock
November 6 is also the same day Target will begin taking online orders again. The retailer will begin selling the console in-store on November 5 and online on Friday, November 6, which is when we’re expecting to see a big wave of Zelda Switch 2 consoles become available.
Nintendo Store Zelda Switch 2 restock
Your next best option is to get the Zelda Switch 2 from the official Nintendo Store online. We’ve seen countless restocks, but they tend to sell out almost instantly or present a litany of errors for those trying to checkout. The restocks are fairly random and sporadic, which suggests Nintendo is re-listing pre-orders that were cancelled and offering them to new buyers.
Still, our 24/7 Zelda Switch 2 restock will issue an alert in case there are any new restocks of the special-edition console. Both Matt Swider’s X account and The Shortcut Substack have the best resources for keeping on top of restocks.
Amazon Zelda Switch 2 restock
Amazon has been one of the toughest online retailers in the US to get a Zelda Switch 2 pre-order. Many believe that Amazon has been “botted out,” suggesting that the consoles are being snapped up instantly by bots operated by resellers.
The Shortcut is still tracking the Zelda Switch 2 console at Amazon, but you’ll have to be fast to hit that ‘Buy Now’ button whenever it appears. It’s the most popular online retailer with the quickest one-button checkout process, which is often why its stock disappears the quickest compared to Best Buy and Walmart.
In-store Zelda Switch 2 restocks at Best Buy and GameStop

Brick-and-mortar stores in the US have been advised not to sell any Zelda Switch 2 consoles until November 5 at midnight, though we’ve seen some outlets break that agreement.
If you’re planning on visiting your local GameStop or Best Buy, which are both holding midnight launches, we advise that you begin queuing up outside early on November 4.
Two official Nintendo Stores in the US – in New York and San Francisco – are also holding a midnight launch event, but you need a Warp Pipe pass in order to purchase the Zelda 40th anniversary hardware. Sadly, the passes sold out almost as soon as they were announced.
We’ll be delivering more Zelda Switch 2 restock information in the US throughout the week, and our tracker is constantly monitoring stores, so we’ll know the moment it’s back in stock – and you will too.
