🤔 GTA 6 and Spotify appear to be collaborating on the game’s soundtrack ahead of its November 19 release
🎶 High-profile artists like Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, and Keith Richards have hinted at their inclusion on social media
💿 Earlier trailers have already featured songs from artists such as Tom Petty, Def Leppard, and Birdman & Lil Wayne
⏳ Rockstar has yet to officially announce the full soundtrack, which traditionally blends modern hits with classic tracks.
The GTA 6 promotion and marketing campaigns are in full swing ahead of the game’s November 19 release, and it looks like Spotify is collaborating in some fashion.
Billboards of GTA 6-style artwork have been spotted across New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, and several high-profile artists have shared similar teases across social media, hinting that their songs will be in the game.
The artists who shared that they may be in the game include Morgan Wallen, PinkPantheress, Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Metro Boomin, Future, Fred Again, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, Rauw Alejandro, and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.
Rockstar hasn’t officially announced which artists will be featured in the game, though Tom Petty and The Pointer Sisters featured in trailer 1 and 2. The game’s ‘Extended Look’ trailer included the following artists, which are likely confirmed:
Birdman & Lol Wayne
Sexyy Red & Tay Keith
Kodak Black
The Bellamy Brothers
Def Leppard
Captain & Tennille
Prefab Sprout
!!! (Chk Chk Chk) feat. Mesh Pace
Cliff Richard
Chim Balam
Elderbrook & Bob Moses
However, the game’s soundtrack is always the subject of debate and an important staple of the series. Many players will have their personal favorites and preferred radio stations to listen to, so it’s an aspect that Rockstar needs to get right.
Usually, there’s a healthy mix of modern-day artists and classic tracks from bands and artists from decades ago, so hopefully everyone’s tastes will be accounted for.
