The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are Apple’s most powerful smartphones to date. With a new variable aperture on the main camera, more powerful performance with the A20 Pro chip, bigger batteries for even longer endurance, and improved cooling, these phones are the ones to get if you’re a content creator, a tech enthusiast, or just want the best iPhone that doesn’t fold in half.
Both phones are also very durable with Apple’s Ceramic Shield 2 and the aluminum enclosure, but glass can still crack, and the metal can get scuffed if you drop it on concrete or other hard surfaces. Luckily, the case market has quickly cooked up a wide selection of covers and protective layers you can attach to your shiny new iPhone 18 Pro to safeguard against accidental damage.
We’ve sifted through them all and have found the 14 best iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max cases we’d spend our money on. Scroll down to see our selections and to pick one up for yourself.

🍎 Best iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max cases
dbrand MNML
The MNML case is dbrand’s first ultra-thin case that’s designed to protect your device from scratches and light drops. Despite being so thin, dbrand says the case can survive drops up to 10 feet, notably high for any thin case. It also comes with a sandstone texture on the outside for extra grip, click buttons, MagSafe magnets, and four color options: black, dark blue, tan, and dark red to match the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro.

dbrand Tank Case
The Tank case is sort of the opposite of MNML in the best way possible. It protects every aspect of your iPhone 18 Pro with a design that’s so chaotic and detailed, it could only be from dbrand. It adds plenty of grip to help you from dropping your phone, and if you still do, it’ll be fine thanks to reinforced corners and a protective lip around the screen. The buttons are metallic and super tactile, it integrates both MagSafe and Camera Control compatibility, and it wraps the cameras up to protect them from damage as well.

dbrand Ghost 2.0 case
The Ghost 2.0 case from dbrand is one of our favorite clear cases for any device because of its robust design. Not only does it let you show off the color of your iPhone 18 Pro, but it also gives it protection against drops up to 12 feet high. It’s super thin at 1.8mm to avoid making your phone too thick to carry around, and dbrand famously claims “you’ll die before it yellows.” I believe that - I’ve been using the Ghost 2.0 case every day on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and it still looks brand-new.

Apple Clear Case with MagSafe
Apple’s Clear Case remains a default staple for a lot of people who upgrade to a new phone. It’s durable enough for everyday wear and tear; it fits perfectly; it works with MagSafe, and the color of your iPhone 18 Pro will shine through. Plus, this year, Apple stopped painting the entire back of the phone in white, only giving the magnets a matte white coating so that more of your phone’s paint job can be seen.
